The ZKONG platform is built for integration: 200+ open APIs plus file and data-feed imports, so it connects to any POS or ERP — SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, NetSuite, regional systems such as Horizon, or your own custom software. We provide ready-made adapters for the most common platforms and build connectors where none exist; a typical integration takes days, not months. For systems without a ready adapter, the free ZKONG Middleware turns scheduled CSV or Excel exports into an automated price feed: a watched folder on any Windows PC, with field mapping, validation, retries and audit logs. It runs locally, opens no inbound connections and sends data only to your ZKONG platform.

ZKONG uses cloud management and secure protocols; some solutions use Bluetooth 5.1 with security keys. Updates are transmitted securely from the cloud platform to the labels.

No. Labels use a low-power wireless link to talk to base stations. Base stations connect to your store network/Internet to reach the cloud.

Four things: the labels themselves, at least one base station (ZAP-C for production stores; roughly one per 500–1,000 m², we size it for you), a ZKONG cloud licence (12-month subscription from €300 per year per store excl. VAT), and the ZKongESL app on an Android phone or a scanner-equipped PDA to bind labels to products. We connect the platform to your ERP or POS — ready-made adapters exist for the most popular systems.

Yes — this is one of ZKONG’s key advantages. Besides the public cloud, ZKONG offers a local / private cloud deployment installed in your own data centre or private hosting, so prices, product data and integrations stay under your control. It is quoted per project; contact us for details.

The store is intended for business customers (B2B): checkout asks for your company name and registration number, and prices are shown excluding VAT. If you are a consumer, contact us before ordering — and note that statutory consumer rights, including the 14-day withdrawal right, always remain unaffected for consumer purchases.

Yes. We ship anywhere in the EU (flat-rate shipping, free above €1,000) and worldwide on request. Installation is organised to fit your location: in the Baltics our own team installs on site; elsewhere we either train your staff for a guided self-installation — labels are mounted in minutes, and binding is done by scanning — or arrange installation through a trusted local partner under our supervision. Configuration, integration and support are always handled by us, remotely, wherever the store is.

The ZKONG cloud platform and apps are multilingual; this site, quotes and support are provided in English and the languages you see in the menu.

Yes — a typical pilot is one store or department: a ZAP-U or ZAP-C base station, 50–500 labels and a cloud licence, live within a couple of weeks. The same labels roll straight into the full deployment.

The platform is operated by an ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified manufacturer. API access uses HTTPS with token-based authentication, platform messaging uses MQTT over TLS, and data at rest in the cloud is encrypted. Role-based access control and optional IP whitelisting limit who can reach the system at all.

Yes. Labels and base stations communicate over a low-power radio link encrypted with AES-128, and every label has its own unique key. Bluetooth 5.1 deployment traffic is encrypted, and NFC uses bidirectional authentication.

Nothing visible — e-paper labels keep showing their last content without any connection and update again when the link returns. Labels check in with the base station on a configurable heartbeat (15–60 seconds).

ZKONG ships firmware and platform updates regularly — on average every two months. In the cloud deployment, databases are snapshotted every two hours and full disks daily; in an on-premise deployment, backups run under your own policies on your own infrastructure.

Yes. You can design promotional content in the cloud editor and schedule it for specific times or campaigns.
