This Privacy Policy explains how SIA Amber Cloud (“we”, “us”) processes personal data when you use this website and online store (elektroniskascenuzimes.lv) and when you order our products and services. We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Latvian law.
1. Data controller

2. What data we collect and why
- Orders and invoicing — company name, VAT number, contact person, billing and delivery address, e-mail, phone, ordered products, payment and delivery details. Purpose: performance of the contract, invoicing, accounting and tax obligations (legal basis: contract, legal obligation).
- VAT number validation — VAT numbers entered at checkout are verified against the European Commission VIES service to apply the correct VAT treatment. The validation result and consultation number are stored with the order (legal basis: legal obligation).
- Customer account — if you create an account: login details, order history and saved addresses. Purpose: providing the account (legal basis: contract).
- Enquiries — name, e-mail and message sent through the contact form or by e-mail. Purpose: answering your enquiry and preparing quotes (legal basis: legitimate interest / pre-contractual steps).
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, pages visited, language preference and cookies necessary for the shop to work (cart, checkout, language, security). Purpose: operating and securing the website (legal basis: legitimate interest).
3. Cookies
The website uses cookies that are necessary for its operation: shopping cart and checkout session, language selection, security and login. We do not use advertising or profiling cookies. You can delete or block cookies in your browser; some shop functions may then not work.
4. Recipients and processors
We share personal data only where necessary and with providers bound by data-processing agreements:
- Hosting and website infrastructure (server located in the EU, Germany).
- E-mail delivery of order confirmations, invoices and correspondence (Zoho Mail, EU data centre).
- Contact form delivery (Formspree).
- Delivery companies, for shipping your order.
- Accounting, banking and tax authorities, as required by law.
- The European Commission VIES service, for VAT number validation.
We do not sell personal data. Data is not transferred outside the European Economic Area unless the provider guarantees an adequate level of protection (e.g. EU Standard Contractual Clauses).
5. Retention
Order and invoicing data are kept for the period required by Latvian accounting and tax law (generally 5 years after the end of the financial year). Account data are kept while the account exists. Enquiries are kept for up to 2 years. Technical logs are kept for up to 12 months.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@elektroniskascenuzimes.lv. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija, www.dvi.gov.lv).
7. Security
The website is served over HTTPS; access to order data is restricted to authorised staff; payments are made by bank transfer, so we do not process card data on this website.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with the date of the last update.
